Save Emails and Contacts to an Access/SQL database and folder store.

Having your information in a database makes it much quicker to search, and much more compact than the ".pst" or ".ost" files Outlook uses.

Emails are stored in monthly folders on your computer or server meaning they can be backed up and archived easily.
For example you may decide to store your emails on your c: drive in a folder called "My Emails"
LookOut would automatically create a new folder each month
C:\My Emails\2007 01\
C:\My Emails\2007 02\
C:\My Emails\2007 03\
etc
Each month you only need to back up that month's folder, and if your disk is getting full you may wish to archive to a CD older month's folders. When viewing your emails from Outlook, you will see the subject and body text of the email, and can restore the folder to see the complete details.

Automatically create contacts for new emails

Each email from a new sender causes you to be given the option to create a Contact automatically, meaning you have a full list of people you have ever received items from which can easily be categorised.

View All of a contact's emails instantaneously

You can find a contact very easily within Lookout or Outlook, then display all the emails to and from the contact instantaneously.
